Faithfulness

What I think faith is:
Belief in a God
Being loyal towards someone

Loyalty and faithfulness, are they one thing or different? On the way to celebrate the new year when I came across this thought. I can't think of a difference..

But I did think about this.. If I want to be loyal to someone.. I would really mean that I respect and love that person such that I won't want to cheat on her.. So loyalty = love. If I love God, I will no want to do anything to hurt him.. So loyalty = love and faith..

Imagine the person i really love.. I wouldn't want her to feel that I cheat or ogle at other women.. So I remain faithful because of love.. Now then. Sparks* :)
