Finally Im back from all that hustle and bustle of life.. alot going on recently.. preparing for wedding, vietnam's just over, camp temasek, company camp and youth camp coming up.. tests are just a stones' throw away and i've gotto start mugging.. gonna spend tmr mugg mugg mugg... i aint smart... but i wanna work harder and prove to myself im more than capable !
VIETNAM TRIP:
Day 1:
nick's parents drove us to the airport and we changed to our Ts got onto the plane and just jizzed in our pants during take off.. did some really ridiculously funny thinigs with captain and it was soo fun! oh.. i got apprehended cuz i was carry a knife.. :P hahahaha! reaching Vietnam, we toook our luggage and went to the bus and headed for lunch.. some awesome noodles thing.. ate a horrible tasting vege and easily picked on the the chilli.. spicy.. but i love it! went to buy some stuff and Jade showed me some interesting jar of snake scorpion wine... like Vietnamese Viagra! HAHA! then we went to visit the NCT students and they were just so hospitable.. we went into a time of interaction and we just had alot of fun talking. soon we had to part and went to our hotel.. LOVED IT TTM!! there was cartoon network in CHINESE and Nat geo so that was all i needed ! <3 the beds too! went for dinner and finally prepared the dry run for the next day's dispensary. nick warren and i stayed up uber later just to catalog things properly and wrote missing characters in the translation sheet.. so nick and i made a swimming pool and brought a pot of tea and just dipped together.. SOOO FUNNY! hahahah! doing halfway, nick fell asleep so i continued and soon i was fast asleep..
Day 2:
woke up showered and went for breakfast and saw the NCT ppl coming in! they are really good at chapteh.. ahhah! Jade for some reason loves to enjoy her food and i always see her by herself eating fruits.. hahah! we departed after squeezing every last drop of water out of our bladders and haeded to the Hung le. there is just.. sooo.. rural and the classrooms are just not right.. we set up our stations and gave out the translations and then we went to look at the kids classes. things picked up and at that time, the optrimists had not arrived so the dispensary was empty, however we played mind games and jus had fun talking.. saw alot kids getting presents cuz they like had perfect eyesight. after that, it began to rain abit.. so the van we took got stuck! saw NCT ppl pushing so i just HAD to get some of the action.. took out my shoes and folded my shorts and went to push the van.. called nick and butts to come and it was such a great time to bond. we tried but still no avail.. so we cramepd in with the NCTs and went to village hall to have lunch.. the chilli there got kick to it.. after taste was just... VROOOSSHHH* breathes fire.. somewhere along the way Felicia broke the toilet door and Jade went to save her.. LOL! went back to dispensaries and things realy kicked up when the optrimists arrived. started to look through and give specs. it was delightful to see the childrens faces bright up.. one memorable thing was a girl had like perfect eyesight on the right eye and 400 on the left.. i was so thankful that day we had enough specs for all.. went back to the hotel to wash up and dinner. started reflection and had a really nice time talking and playing. went back and just slept soundly.
Day 3:
gosh.. really long day.. dedicated our jobs to the boys and i really wanna affirm Faye for staying throughout and translating for us. this day there was alot of turn downs as there werent specs left. something interesting was that Jade came to help out so we organized stuff took pictures and Jade Long go and clean that orange stuff on my yellow shirt! so i cleaned back on her! hahaha! that to me was memorable. closing was hard because we had to reject the rest of the elderly people.. some had cataract stage 4 aand we just couldnt give em anymroe specs..tried to find all the positives but still no avail.. i felt really sad and felt like crying. by that time all the boys and girls left.. only primers and NCT were around so it was hard on both sides.. and i want to thank those who helped us translate.. i was really hard for them to tell the people even though they thanked us for helping ;(((( when we reached the hotel, we had to pack up and have a special lunch with the NCT. josh and noel played the bag pipes and i could tell everyone was having so much fun. leaving was abit hard but it was part and parcel. i hope we can meet them again soon. we went to the city and checked in to our hotel before heading out to the city. it is really beautiful and i enjoyed every part of it.dinner at the restaurant was awesome.. loved the music and for some reason.. i just felt i did smth wrong.. well... :/ went to get some ice cream and soon we were back at our hotel. reflection was in CFs room. Really like how jade speaks and its just very cute to see her laugh that way. girls were up till quite late while i was stuck with a snoring yogi!
Day 4:
woke up super late and almost missed breakfast. had to go rush nicholas as we went to the orphanage. the place was abit hard to handle and when we entered the room. i felt my heart sink. warren and I started praying as we walked down the beds and i really wanted to cry but my heart is still so hard. after walking through, i asked the primers to gather and we went out to pray.. soon we broke down, and did tear abit when nicholas cried.. when we were inside the room, heard that Jade and the girls were crying too.. so i just sat there and prayed. after the orphanage, we went for KFC and cuchi tunnels! very fun! loved it although i started getting claustrophobic after the tunnel because it was just so dark and small.. felt really hard to move.. went back to hotel and on the way we discussed abt our presentation. jade used her little froggy to kick me.. SUPER cute.. hahaha.. then started talking and when we got to the hotel, we gather at CFs room again and started to practice on what we wanted to do. led the boys in a dance and it was really fun. dinner was on a ferry and it sucked to be on the lower deck. the upper deck was just sooooo COOOL! had we stayed up there listening to the music and all.. went shopping and we kinda practiced how to bargain so it was funny. got approached by a man who wanted to deal drugs. so disgusted.. got some nice shades and some dragonflies. went back to hotel and reflection.. saw those little dying faces and their sadness in the orphanage.. went to sleep but heard the girls playing till pretty late.
Day 5:
woke up bright and early to tyler ward and had a scruptious breakfast. after which, we checked out and our bill was like 150 000DONG cuz i think we forgot to return the boiler.. ROFL.. we had our little skits and OURS ROCKS!! HAHAHAH! YAY!!! so much fun practicing and doing it.. soooo hilaroius! went to notradam castle or church. felt so solemn inside and we just knelt down to pray. went to the post station and bought cute little thingies! had fun there and soon we were off shopping!! bought like shorts and slippers.. some people were like so desperate for us to buy that they started hogging. but i did feel bad for those who really wanted a decent business and i could tell it in their eyes. went to about 3locations. lunch was.. how do i put it.. interesting.. tasted balut for once.. first time.. gore... i just cant put it in words..met Mr bernard tan and we continued to go more shopping! Jade was like really into Grey's anatomy and i felt like buying it for her.. but in the end miss eleora bought and i think gave to her.. mmmm.. went around and did some stupid things with nixon.. bought boxers!!?! out of impulse to waste money and i got an awesomely CUTE backpack :)) after that.. we went to the airport and bid weng farewell.. talked to Jade about some things that happened the night before.. it was a nice conversation :) then we took the fliight.. this part was really fun.. me chao feng ezra sen ree marcus shao yang noel joshua sang table grace and SHOUTED everybody EAT on the plane! hAHAH! smuggled our pillows and CF they all took their utensils.. ezra ALMOST had his glass cup! AHHAHA! When we reach Singapore.. the momment of truth! easily walked out :DD YAY!!! SQ PILLOW!!! then we like bid farewell and i was kinda sad i could say bye to some people.. so oh well... went back home and next day had to go school.. sighhsss miss the NCT, hotel and my group..
well.. good that u made it this far :)
i was in school so tired.. still playing pokemon and hacking the GBA.. awesome.. finish Lab Man UT today and Alvin msged me for band prac.. stayed up till midnight.. :( thanks alvin for sending us back !
